Our small family owned and run winery has been producing award winning wines in the Yarra Valley for over 10 years.
We use 100% natural age old methods dating back centuries and inherited from our forbears in central Italy - methods which cannot be replaced by machines to achieve the same high quality.
Nillumbik Estate is situated on the western edge of the Yarra Valley and is renowned for its harsh and hilly topography. In fact, the word Nillumbik means shallowearth, named by its original Aboriginal inhabitants to signify the lack of top soil lost to the undulating terrain.
This makes Nilllumbik an ideal place for growing wine with great intensity and flavour.
Our focus is on producing the best wine the region has to offer. We do this by keeping our volume small and our attention to detail great.
